This is a roller pulley for transporting both 16mm and 8mm film stock in a seamless manner. It features a split design, allowing it to be divided into two halves to eliminate any overhangs while incorporating registration pins for effortless assembly. Print two of these rollers for each single unit you wish to create. Following printing, apply your preferred adhesive and secure the two halves together. To facilitate this process, using a C-clamp can be extremely helpful in holding the halves firmly in place. I specifically designed this roller with the intention of utilizing a 1/4"-20 bolt as its axle. The hole will be slightly undersized after printing, so it is essential to take a 17/64" bit and drill out the center of the pulley following assembly. This ensures that the pulley rotates smoothly with minimal wobble.
