Film In The Past

My project is a camera controlled by a Raspberry Pi that's attached to a hat. The camera stays constantly on, filming everything at all times, but only records the last 7 seconds of video footage. Imagine you're walking down the street and spot a meteorite in the sky - no need to rush for your phone to film it! Once the meteorite has passed, simply press a button on the hat and the camera will start recording those crucial final 7 seconds. You can then download the video from an app on your smartphone. The code is written in Python and utilizes OpenCV. An external 5000mAh battery powers the system, ensuring it runs smoothly throughout the day. The Raspberry Pi serves as a wireless access point, making it easy to connect to and transfer files. Thanks to FTPManager (available for download at https://apps.apple.com/app/id525959186), you can link your phone directly to the Raspberry Pi to retrieve the recorded video.
