This is a replacement film guide for a Canon Canoscan 5600F scanner. The guide is designed to be used with a piece of anti newton ring glass. The glass can be purchased here: http://www.scan-tech.net/ The glass for the epson v500 scanner will fit this film guide. Put the film in the guide, curved side up. Then place the anr glass on top of the film, etched side against the film.
