This is a replacement film guide designed specifically for use with anti-newton ring glass for a Canon Canoscan 5600F scanner. The guide can be purchased from the website http://www.scan-tech.net/. It's worth noting that the same glass used in an Epson v500 scanner will fit this film guide perfectly. To properly align the film, place it in the guide with the curved side facing upwards. Next, position the anti-newton ring glass on top of the film, ensuring that the etched side is securely pressed against the film itself.
