Film Drop - 120 Film Case

This is a convenient and easy way to carry and store your 120 film rolls. On the go, in the fridge, or on the self (you sick sick, uncaring soul!), this holder is perfect. It protects from the elements (sun, moisture, extreme heat and cold) and helps your film stay minty fresh! Compact enough to slip into your pocket too, in most situations that is. If your pants don't have pockets, maybe try sliding it at the waistband!

The name "Film Drop" is derived from the shape of a teardrop or raindrop (or both, if you wanna hide those tears). It's also the action you make to put film into the case! Most importantly, it's that sick massive tones drop you splash on your IG, Tumblr, Flickr, Discord, or wherever, once those rolls get developed and scanned! Oh, and let's also acknowledge the sadness that can be averted if you drop this case of film instead of the film its self, shall we? Yep, you are printing potential moods like, "ecstatic", and "relief" too!

To see actual prints of my design, check out the “Makes” tab (I print basically everything I design.)

Some features of this case are:

Easy "click" locking, so the top stays on when it should (I'm still bitter about some commercial cases out there that didn't think about that in their offerings)

The teardrop design makes it versatile in how you set it down, display it, or store it. If you need them standing tall, that's an option! Of course, you can always set them on their base (boring but cute), or lay them flat too, for ultra slim-fit situations. (This was the practical reason that I came up with this design actually)

Handy grip stripes are built into the design, so your hands can best grip that (sometimes slippery) plastic without struggles. Those magical lines make the case even more easy to open and close!

BONUS FEATURE for those that go the extra printing mile! If you have a crystal (clear) filament, then you can print this case so that it is semi-translucent. If/When you do this, you can see the rolls of film that are in the case without having to pop the lid! No gonna lie, it's kinda awesome, and it only takes a few tweaks to the standard print settings. Message me for "translucent pointers" and I'll let you know what I did. You can give me pointers too, if something worked well for you that I haven't tried.

Print Settings

Printer: Any (I used a Qidi X-one2)

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.2

Infill: 20%

Filament: Any PLA+ (I used GST3D)

Filament Color: Any (I've used many)

Post-Printing

None really. Just pop off the bed and load that baby with film!
