Film developing tank retaining clip (Jobo 2000, Plastimat, etc)
thingiverse
The classic problem with older film developing tanks like Jobo 2000 series or Plastimat arises when the retaining clip inevitably breaks. This crucial part is designed to prevent film spirals from sliding upwards during agitation, but once it's gone, the tank becomes nearly unusable, despite its remarkable durability and long lifespan. The good news is that I've created a replacement solution. To ensure optimal performance, I strongly recommend printing this part in PETG, which offers the necessary flexibility and chemical resistance to withstand the harsh environment of film development. In contrast, PLA is not suitable for this application as it will quickly deteriorate and fail after just one or two uses.
