Filler - Ender 3 Slide Rail Filament Support
thingiverse
I absolutely love the original Filler model. It's sturdy, looks great, functions well. The only problem, for me, was that the Ender 3 arm for the holder was either: - Meant to be attached to the original metal spool arm (via nut) or - Was oriented in a direction that only made sense for a direct drive setup (The CR-10 & Ender 3 arm) AND required removing all or part of the top bar to slide it on I wanted it to be one color and liked the look of the pillar arm, so I added rail slides in an orientation conducive to a bowden setup. You also don't need to dissemble any part of the frame to slide it on, when done from the side opposite the stepper motor. I'd advise printing the pillar vertically, using tree support as it leaves less material to remove from inside the rail slide portion. Extra material in that area can make it hard to slide onto the top rail, but tapping it on with plyers or another instrument worked just fine if it's a bit tight.
