Filler Brace for Anet ET4 (spool holder on 2020 extrusion)
thingiverse
Update 18/11/2019: After a week of using the first version, it bent. Maybe because I'm using generic PLA or the ambient temperature around my printer is a little warm. So, I went overboard and thickened the column and widened the base. This time, I printed with ABS! I also made the jaw clip (and unclip) easier to attach to the 2020 extrusion since I need to remove it every time I want to use an enclosure for ABS prints. I remixed the filler brace for CR10/Ender 3 with a 2020 extrusion. When I print and install the original filler brace, the clip's jaw is in the way of the z-axis stop switch. So, I flipped the clip section 180 degrees. It works fine now. Additionally, I created another modified version where I added extra feet or shoulders. I just thought it looked better, and if there's additional strength or stability, that's a bonus! Full credit goes to the original creator for providing the source file, which makes this edit so much easier for someone like me who is new to 3D printing.
