Filled Pipes for Cyberman
thingiverse
To solve the issue of printing hollow pipes for the Cyberman head, I used OpenSCAD to fill them but couldn't render both models together. Thus, I followed these steps: lined up the components in OpenSCAD and only rendered the "pipe filler" parts; exported as STL. Opened original STL in Meshlab, added "pipe filler" STL as another layer; selected Filters --> Layer and Attribute Management --> Flatten visible layers; saved new STL and uploaded to cloud.netfabb.com. Printed the original cyHead27mmNoPipes_010.stl and filled_pipes_fixed.stl, glued them together, and extended the pipes if needed. Meanwhile, preparations for planet conquest continued.
