I decided to mix the built-in t-nuts with the filament guide, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. This print was completed using Cura 3.x.x, printing face-up with supports, but unfortunately, I encountered a problem while printing the door's supports, which subsequently fouled up the entire door. Fortunately, I managed to print just the door again as a replacement, and everything turned out fine. The T-nuts have one flaw: they don't grasp tight enough, so I added some tape to the extruder to build up the grip, and it works perfectly well now.
