Part of the Monumento Natural das Ilhas Cagarras, this small rock boasts a low altitude and rounded features, expertly concealed from an observer's gaze on Ipanema Beach by its larger counterpart, "Mother" Cagarra. On this islet, a deep valley forms between the two highest points, allowing the sea to crash in with considerable force. A 3D model of this site was developed as part of the Islands of Rio Project (http://ilhasdorio.org.br). J.C. Araujo, J.C.S. Seoane, O.N. Grillo, E.E.S. Santos, and F.C. Moraes wrote "Modelo Digital de Elevação de Baixo Custo para Unidades de Conservação Marinhas" in 2019 for Revista Brasileira de Cartografia.
