Assess the thickness of the spooling filament using a gauge, readily available on Amazon and eBay. Secure the mount to the intake plate via the topmost holes. Retract the plunger and insert the guide onto the "foot." Cut approximately 1.5 inches from the PTFE tube's end, then place the tube's looped end into the guide's bottom. For easier installation, do this before attaching the gauge to the mount. Subsequently, slide the cut-off tube segment into the guide's top portion, ensuring the filament is constrained everywhere except under the plunger. Attach the gauge to the mount and adjust the guide to face the plate, allowing for the straightest possible filament entry. Confirm that the plunger moves freely; if it rubs against the guide's sides, trim the inside accordingly.
