Additional hardware needed: * 2 #8 wood screws for mounting * 3 M3 x 3mm heatset threaded inserts * 2 M3 x 8mm screws to mount sensor to back of unit * 4 M3 x 20mm screws (optional) to attach PTFE guides to bottom * E6000 adhesive (optional) for PTFE guides * 1 piece of 4mm OD PTFE tubing * 1 pencil and paper A redesign of the filastruder sensor holder makes it less likely to snag, more adjustable, and easily wall mountable. Keyhole screw mounts are designed for #8 wood screws for easy installation. To locate mounting hole positions, stretch a piece of paper across the holes on the back, rub with a pencil to mark locations, then use the paper as a template for drilling. To extend laser wires, unscrew the laser barrel and solder longer wires to the board. Room is also available to splice onto wires and put splices inside the barrel. Thread wiring through the hole provided, connect it to the board, then mount the board to the base unit. A hole in the bottom of the base allows for an M3 screw to fix the slider in position and prevent accidental separation. To reduce friction, 4mm OD PTFE guides can be screwed and/or glued into vertical vanes.
