These files are designed specifically to support a board mount and compact controller holder. The lasercut case provided with the Filastruder kit is excessively bulky, especially when mounting it vertically. In this configuration, achieving smooth feed and reliable plastic pellet flow becomes nearly impossible due to the stock case's size. These files, on the other hand, offer an alternative control panel, switch, and fan mount, which closely mirror the geometry of the laser-cut parts, with the exception of the side-mounted fan. Additionally, a back mount for the current/voltage limiting board is included, where this board mount is screwed directly into the motor case using the printed plastic "bolts" provided in the file. Up next will be creating a hopper tailored to my vertically mounted Filastruder setup.
