Osprinting filastruder's official case files failed to work for me as the DXF files seemed incorrectly formatted. Instead, I opened the .stp files in Autodesk Student Edition (since I am a student) and exported each file's face into 2007 DXF format, which proved most compatible. It appears that the default format is set to "units"; however, using "autodetect" or "inch" when importing can help. DXF files are commonly used for laser cutting, so give it a shot!
