Filastruder Hopper with Window

<p>I created this hopper for the filastruder V2, as i was having too many problems using it vertically that i reconfigured for horizontal operation.</p> <p>The Hopper extension and lid I drew up in Fusion 360, and used the window idea from thingi <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:277996">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:277996</a>, I used the hopper attachement for horizontal operation from thingi <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:439909">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:439909</a> i put a compatible thread into this with thingi <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:157541">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:157541</a> and to give the hopper a base I flattened off the top of the this thingi <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:89073">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:89073</a>, to produce my new hopper design for the filastruder v2 it holds approx 1kg of pellets, and has good flow into the extruder.</p> <p>If i get around to it, if I put a thread into the other chutes from thingi <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:439909">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:439909</a> this hopper can be used in the filastruder in other orientations.</p> <p>Update 24/12/17</p> <p>I adjusted the hopper bracket to have a 25deg tilt on it as i run my filastruder now with a 25deg downward tilt, i found this to be a good angle for filament extrusion, and if you look in the photo 25deg is coming up around the maximum tilt available before i have to extend the bracket to allow it to clear the main body of the filastruder.
