Filastruder Active Carbon and Hepa Filter Mount
thingiverse
Update 10/29/17 V2: The barrel on top has been shortened so it no longer creeps past the insulation, and a bracket has been added inside the mount to prevent tilting under the weight of the filter. This adapter is designed to mount the Active Carbon and Hepa Filter assembly set by Donzi (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1764408) for the Filastruder. The 60 mm fan for filament cooling is mostly unused in its default configuration, leaving plenty of extra air flow available for air filtering and cooling. The fan doesn't pull a lot of air in this setup, but it seems to work well for removing any smell from the filament extrusion process while also cooling the filament at the same time. You will need to print the 60 mm adapter and the half inch body for the active carbon portion of the filter. I purchased these parts to use with the filter, so you will require the small HEPA filters and some disposable active carbon: 1) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01I2QUCOM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 2) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002566WY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 You will also need some metal mesh from your local hardware store to help hold in the active carbon.
