thingiverse
The Filastruder Motor Mount for the 2.0 was created with one goal in mind: providing a reliable reference point. I wanted to ensure that my design wouldn't infringe on any copyrights or upset anyone unnecessarily. By sharing this design, I'm offering a valuable resource for those who need it - especially if mine breaks down and they're left scrambling. Details of the Design: For those interested in understanding the intricacies of the Filastruder Motor Mount, here's a breakdown of its key features: Assume Face 1 is the motor face (30mm Hole) and Face 2 is the flange face (15mm Hole). The datum refers to the lower edge with an 8mm hole on both sides. The aluminum component measures 102mm square with 4mm walls, standing at a height of 77mm. Here are the specifics for each face: Face 1: - A 30mm hole is centered 44mm from the datum. - A screw set (four 5mm holes) is located lower down: 26mm up from the datum and 6mm over from the left side, as well as 66mm up from the left. The upper set is centered in line with the lower set but positioned 86mm up from the datum. - A center hole measuring 30mm is situated, along with an 8mm hole that's centered 10mm up from the datum. Face 2: - A 15mm hole is centered 52mm up from the datum. - Two sets of flange holes are positioned: one vertical set (28mm and 84mm up) and a horizontal set (55mm up), with each first from left being 8mm apart. - The second set is positioned horizontally, 55mm up, with the first hole from the left measuring 61mm. - A center hole measuring 15mm is present, along with an 8mm lower hole centered 10mm up from the datum. Note that this design was created solely for my personal use and not intended for commercial replication or duplication. It's essential to understand that I'm not attempting to steal anyone's ideas; rather, I'm offering a helpful resource for those who may find it useful.
