An update on my earlier filament guide glue stick trimmer holder thing #2043802. I leave all my filament out in the open on a rack made from PVC pipe. I don't think I've had any trouble with moisture yet, but I thought I'd try an experimental dryer mod. I designed a cylinder that should be big enough to hold two of those silicate bags that come with filament, seaweed (yes, I did say seaweed), and all that other kind of moisture-absorbing stuff. The hope is that the silicate will absorb the moisture from the filament as it slowly passes through the dryer. I used the filament holder I used for the previous thing. I also used the hinge and latch from the filter on the same file. Like the previous thing, I haven't had the chance to print it yet. Not sure if it actually works.
