A spring wiper ensures dust and other particles are kept out of the feeder, bowden, and extruder assembly. It's specifically designed for easy installation and removal, so you won't need to remember to put it on the filament before feeding - simply remove and reinstall without refilamenting. For use with a lazy-susan turntable, which allows filament to unspool smoothly. Designed for an Ultimaker2 but works with other printers that use a bottom-feed external feeder. Instructions After printing the wiper, cut two squares of foam rubber about 25x25mm, each roughly 12mm thick when compressed. It doesn't matter if they're not exact - you can make do with whatever scraps are available. Place the foam squares inside the wiper box such that the parting line is on the open side, lined up with the slits in the box and parallel to its long axis. When changing filament, just slide it into place between the two pieces of foam. If everything's properly aligned, you can do this without taking out the foam or refilamenting.
