The winder was designed to work with the extruder forming a filament but can also be used to rewind the spool. DIN5 connector is intended to control the rotational speed by measuring the thickness (thickness meter is under development) but can be freely adapted. Inside the device there is enough space for the motor and Arduino UNO with MotorShield. I provide two versions of the cover with and without the display. It seems to me that it will be easier for you to use the version without the display and control the winder by means of DIN or USB connector.
