Filament weight scale for Ender-3
thingiverse
When the filament reel of a 3D printer starts to dwindle, it becomes increasingly challenging to determine whether the remaining filament in the reel will be enough for the next print.\r\nA useful scale allows you to estimate how much filament remains in the printer roll and helps predict whether it will be sufficient for the upcoming print.\r\nThe unique feature of this implementation is that it's housed between the support bracket of the filament roll and the 20x20 mm profile at the top of the Ender-3. The power supply is tapped from the 24V rail on the nearby power supply.\r\nA full description of the project can be found at http://www.steila.com/blog/index.php?controller=post&action=view&id_post=27\r\n\r\nThe description of the roller is available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3535076
