The MakerBot Replicator's filament feeding tubes issue is solved by this Tube Base. It ensures firm hold of the tubing while attaching easily to the existing bracket. This base works with OEM filament holders or customer-provided alternatives and is suitable for MakerBot Replicator 2 and 2X. Print it using ABS, with a raft and standard resolution, and add support (HIPS makes it easier). Shells should be 3, with 15% infill at 240C extruder temp (230C for HIPS). Enlarge the tube holes with a 1/4" drill bit and install the tubing. Align them towards the back of the holder and attach to the existing bracket. This allows for easy filament loading and printing.
