Filament Transfer Connector

This device expertly unwinds filament from a large spool with a central diameter and skillfully rewinds it onto a smaller spool. Its unique design addresses the proprietary size of filament spools for the Flashforge Finder, but its principle applies to any two spools of varying diameters. I've paired this transfer connector with the TUSH spool holder / rail https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2047554. I secured two sets of TUSH to a wooden plank at precisely the right distance from each other using cyanoacrylate glue. To rewrap the filament, insert the transfer connector's part A through both spools. Then place part B onto part A like a cap. Guide the filament into the hole in the empty spool and start turning it slowly, keeping the filament taut. As you wind more filament onto the receiving spool, it will become increasingly easy to speed up the process. When you have enough filament on the receiving spool, simply stop and cut the filament.
