Filament Top Feed

I store filaments in dry boxes situated above the printer, which is where I started working on relocating the top feed sensor and adding a pulley so it feeds from above. Although I built a support initially, I plan to redo that design for more clearance; as it stands, my Z-axis has been restricted at the top due to this setup. However, incorporating an enclosure would be ideal. The pulley is printed in two parts, which press-fit together nicely. When printing mine, I opted for a very light approach – just two outlines and 20% infill – ensuring that a #6-32 machine screw fits perfectly into the hole. Fortunately, I had enough wire from the sensor to avoid redoing any of the wires. Please note that the images attached are before I took some extra time to smooth out all the edges for a more polished look.
