Filament Tag Case
prusaprinters
**This case is designed to fit the filament tags I created. You can find them and print them here: https://www.printables.com/model/586819-filament-tag-with-keychain-holeAn elegant way to showcase your filament collection or a portable case that holds samples of the colors you can print. This filament tag case can fit up to 30 filament tags and has holes for 8x3mm magnets (optional) to keep them secure from falling out.You will need 2(two) M3x30mm screws for the hinges. You can also use 4(four) 8x3mm magnets for your case to snap close, but they are not necessary. Printing:Default settings should work just fine for most printers.I used a BambuLab P1P with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height, 15% adaptive cubic infill, no brim, and default settings for everything else .The included .3mf file has a pause at 22.20mm (Layer 111 if printing at 0.2mm layer height) for you to insert 4(four) 8x3mm magnets, two on the top lid and two on the bottom lid. Once you resume the print, the holes will be covered up and you will not be able to insert the magnets. Make sure to remove the pause if you are NOT using the magnets. Assembly:All you will need is 2(two) M3x30mm screws. Simply insert each screw from the outside (screw pointing towards the middle) into the hinge and screw them in to cut the thread. Note that the screws can only be inserted this way, the outer and middle part of the hinges are clearance holes (screw will slide through them). Only the inner part of the hinge has a smaller hole in order for the screw to cut the thread. *In some cases, the top lid will hit the tags and the case won't close. To fix this simply wiggle the case sideways so that each tag fits into their slot and the case should close just fine.
