I designed a custom filament swatch for myself, which isn't perfect but serves the purpose for now. The key features include: -A hook to attach directly to my 5-gallon buckets that store my filament. -The left side slope is 20mm long and monitors layer adhesion when shifting. It's angled at 67.8 degrees, a non-magical approach that has helped identify potential delamination issues (suggesting I should increase temperatures slightly). -Circles on the right are 5, 10, and 15mm in diameter. -Lines extending from the circles vary in width (.4, .5, and .6mm) and length (5mm). -The central letters aren't a watermark; they're actually a tool to evaluate filament's ability to print fine text on the first layer. -An inset area is used for minor stringing tests. Future updates aim to include: -A simple retraction test with minimal complexity. -A designated space for attaching data stickers on the back for efficient cataloging. -Possibly adding "bridging" and "overhang" sections for further testing. My ultimate goal is to create swatches that fit onto my tub handles, providing essential information about what's inside and general guidelines for printing. I plan to produce a swatch every 5 degrees from 190 to 270 once I've refined my basic tower tests. If anyone finds this useful or has suggestions for improvement, please share your thoughts.
