Filament support with bearings for Ender 3
thingiverse
I have made this improvement to the filament support for my Ender 3, which uses the original thread and anchorage to keep the extruder motor from pushing the filament of the coil too forcefully. I modified the size and screw thread to improve its firmness since it was originally too long for the standard size and weight of filament coils. This improvement also makes it more secure and stable. You will need 2 bearings type 608zz like these: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/10pcs-608zz-Deep-Groove-Bearing-Steel-Ball-Bearings-With-Grease-For-Skateboard-Roller-Blade-Scooter-Inline/3259041_32851756066.html Try to print them with a filling around 50% (to be resistant and weight bearing), and do not use supports for the area of the screw thread (they are not necessary). The old versions of my Ender 3 already come with the nut, so it is not necessary to print it. Video of the final improvement finish: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mhpb-0PYpm8
