(See photo)</li> <li>Use the depth end of a caliper to measure the distance from the end of the tool to the end of the filament. Zero out the caliper at this point. (see photo)</li> <li>Extrude 100mm of filament and measure again in the same fashion. If you zeroed out the caliper at the end of step 3, it will show the amount actually extruded. Ignore the negative sign.
