I designed a solution for storing my increasing collection of filament, resulting in this practical setup that functions efficiently and maintains their organization while allowing for effortless selection of my preferred color. Essential materials: Some 1"X8" wood boards and 1" dowel rods are required - four dowels for each section spanning 4 feet I cut the 1"X8" wood into 20-inch pieces and drilled holes approximately three-quarters deep in predetermined locations on the printout. Next, I securely fastened one end of the setup to a wall using some "L" brackets. Subsequently, I placed dowel rods through the mounted side's pre-drilled holes. The opposite end's dowels were then inserted, allowing for easy assembly as they are pressed into their designated spaces. I recommend that you utilize this storage solution for spools measuring approximately 8.5 inches in diameter or less. To achieve the same length shown in the image - eight feet - three sections of wood need to be precisely cut and arranged according to the diagram's instructions.
