Filament storage
thingiverse
This is a method of increasing space for storing many spools of filament by creating a sort of drawer. The "cabinet" can hold a maximum of about 50 spools so I think I'll be fine for years... :D Naturally, to complete the project, as well as printing the various parts, you will also need to get some screws/nuts and the 25 mm external diameter tubes in aluminum and the 20 mm external diameter tubes which however I recommend using in iron so they slide better (aluminium on aluminum does not is the maximum of smoothness). Finally, to make the lower linear bearings I used standard 6mm airsoft bullets. Regarding the aluminum corners, if you wanted, you could print something to replace them but I don't know if it would be as sturdy. If you have any questions about how to do the project, just ask me.
