Filament Spooler
thingiverse
Eliminate tangled ABS spools and organize your color collection with a budget-friendly modification for an $8.97 HomeDepot Cord Reel. For separating two different colors or types, utilize optional lazzzored dividers. To implement this, cut the provided half-circle parts using the .eps file and remove the center hook on the spool, filing it smooth. Attach two like-lazzzed dividers together with M3 bolts and nuts. Drill 1/8" (3mm) holes in the spool's center for holding filament ends - one inside and another towards the flange edge, as depicted in the image.
