Filament spool storage.22mm copper pipe
myminifactory
I was searching for a filament rack that used tubing, but what I found wasn't easy to find in the UK. I wanted it to be extendable so you could add more sections as you accumulated more filament. To learn Fusion360 and gain experience, I designed one from scratch to fit standard UK 22mm copper pipe. You can also use 22mm PVC pipe, but you'd need Schedule 40 spec to prevent bending. I printed in generic PLA at 0.3mm layer height with 10% infill, which produced a really strong piece. Two pieces took around 8 hours on my Artillery X1 sidewinder. I added supports that touched the build plate only, creating a very easy-to-remove plug for the lower two holes. The horizontal holes printed fine without infill. Copper pipes were cut to 25mm for the vertical and 60mm (my bench size) for the horizontal. A generic pipe cutter is sufficient, and those that spin around the pipe are simple to use and require little effort. I've added the .dxf so you can modify it further yourself. If you want any modifications or files in a different format, just ask.
