I acquired a one-pound spool or half-hank of nylon thread, which appears to be an ideal candidate for a sealed container. Unfortunately, the standard-sized spool rollers were too oversized, prompting me to create this diminutive roller that incorporates 626 bearings I had accumulated in abundance. To assemble a filament roller pair, simply print four each of the side and foot components. The 626 bearings feature a 6mm hole diameter and measure 6mm wide by 19mm outside diameter – roughly equivalent to the size of a penny.
