Filament Spool Roller Holder (1-5kg)

I needed to find a spool roller that could handle this massive "Texas-style" 5kg spool from Zyltech. I also required a slightly smaller roller for Polymaker's 3kg spools. After searching, I couldn't find anything that fit and performed well, so I decided to create my own. Various sizes are included to accommodate spools of less than .5kg all the way up to the massive 5kg spools. To build this roller, you'll need four M3x10mm screws and nuts, two or four M3x6mm screws, and four 608zz bearings. You can find these components on eBay, Amazon, or other 3D printing stores. You will need to print a pair of rollers, side plates, support bars, and lock rings. I've included various sizes ranging from 4 inches to 7 inches (for the 5kg spool). A good rule of thumb is to measure your spool's width and add one inch for the minimum size. The bottom support bars come in two styles: standard and wide. The wide version has wings that allow you to screw it into a desk or dry box, just like I did. The lock rings are adjustable and secure with 6mm M3 screws. The holes are designed to create threads when the screws are inserted, ensuring a tight fit. I printed everything using ABS plastic with a 0.6mm nozzle.
