I constructed a custom enclosure using leftover Ikea cabinets and needed to secure the spool underneath the build chamber near the power supply. This minimalist mount employs the stock plastic nut provided with my printer, the Monoprice Maker Select, which might also work for other i3 clones. The hole spacing on my specific Ikea cabinet (Stuva Frame) is 2.5 inches. Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Maker Select Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 or 0.2mm Infill: 100% Notes: You may be able to print with less infill; my first 25% fill print cracked while screwing into the Ikea frame, so I upgraded to 100% for stability.
