This device helps quickly wind filament from one spool onto another. It is easy to attach it to a power drill with the necessary tools and attachments. Designed for spools of filament that have holes of specific dimensions, these components must fit perfectly around each other to function properly. Parts required for proper operation: A threaded M8 hex bolt, which is 90 mm or longer, along with two matching nuts. OR: A 5/16 inch fully threaded hex bolt, at least 3-1/2 inches in length, along with two 5/16 inch nuts. This device was created by Blaz Bratus and his team from IRNAS Institute. First step to assembling the filer rewriter: Print two separate pieces that fit around each spool tightly, adjusting the size of each part if your filament's hole dimensions don't match exactly. Once printed, use the required tools listed above to attach the pieces firmly together using bolts and nuts. Then simply connect the assembled rewinder to any power drill for effective winding.
