Filament Spool Rack/Holder for Edsal/Muscle Rack Shelves

These are spool rack brackets designed to hang from an extra horizontal bar (shelf mount) in an Edsal/Muscle style rack/shelving unit. The brackets hold a piece of 1/2" PVC pipe, for which a STL of end caps is included. The spools rest on both the pipe and the horizontal bar. It can hold standard 1kg spools and smaller 0.5kg spools. Because the horizontal bars have almost no torsional or lateral stiffness, the bracket includes a back-rest, which is designed to push up against a wall. You may need to print some spacers if your shelving unit is spaced out from the wall more than mine. The brackets are designed to hold ~10kg, but if you install these on a 4ft+ long horizontal bar, I do not suggest loading these with more than about 5kg due to the bar flexing. I use mine for storing partial spools (pictured). The shorter horizontal bars (18" or 24" long usually) flex less, so can hold more weight, though of course there isn't as much room on the spool rack then. Print with all-walls, no infill, and hot for maximum strength.
