Filament Spool Rack

thingiverse

This is a wooden filament spool rack made from 15mm thick rod. Cut the rod into three lengths, each as long as you want your rack to be wide. Cut the remaining rod into four shorter pieces, at least 14cm in length. Print four corner brackets and two rail holder brackets. Use a wood adhesive like Gorilla Glue to attach the rod to the brackets. To learn more about how to build it, check out the guide at http://www.instructables.com/id/Filament-Spool-Rack/. Printer Settings: Printer: Custom Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1mm-0.2mm Layers Infill: 40%-60% Notes: Print with a high infill and thin layers - the rack will hold around 4kg of weight, so print the parts sturdy!
