DO NOT PRINT THIS. After a year in use, the spool holders are no longer holding due to excessive weight. I will redesign and post an update soon, but until then, do not print or use these designs. Unclutter your shelves with a Filament Spool Rack that holds most spool sizes from about 150mm. The spools shown in my photo are all 200mm, but sorry, you'll have to find another storage solution for your Taulman 1 pound spools. This design is straightforward and easy to build - I used 3/4" Schedule 40 PVC pipe for the rails, which can be cut to length. Print enough brackets for that length, and use 16 inch spacing as a good starting point to prevent sagging under the weight of the spools. You'll need to determine the best method for attaching the brackets to your wall. The end caps are designed specifically for Schedule 40 PVC pipe, but if you want to use Schedule 80, leave me a note with the O.D and I.D dimensions so I can add an updated end cap design. The 'ID Tag' is meant to hang in front of each spool, marking the type of filament inside using a sharpie, label, or other method. Simply clip it to the PVC pipe to keep track of what's on each spool.
