<p>This is my solution for what to do with old filament spools: Use them to hold all your painting supplies! Holds 12/28 paints.</p> <p><em>middle insert:</em></p> <p>This goes in the middle of the spool. It is designed to fit an inner diameter of 53mm and spool-width of 101mm. If your measurements differ, you should get away with just scaling it to fit. The little nubs on the side are supposed to increase friction, so make sure there is one layer gap underneath them. They can be pushed in after printing with a bit of gentle force.</p> <p><em>2-5-kg-quarter-holder-vallejo.stl:</em></p> <p>This design fits great for extrudr 2.5kg-spools (diameter: 215mm) and Vallejo game colors(diameter: 25mm). If you are using something different, please confirm fit before printing.</p> <p>You will need to print the model 4 times. The friction-fit has a tolerance of 0.1 mm so please make sure your printer can handle that.</p> <p><em>1-kg-half 110x33.stl:</em></p> <p>This design fits the old Prusa Whitelabel-Spools (not Prusament) as well as other Spools with 110mm Diameter and hold 12 Games Workshop colors or similar (33mm).
