This is a clever holder, specifically made to hang filament spools on the wall via a rod. I 3D printed two of them and hung them up using M4 screws. Next, I used a wooden rod to hang all my filament spools. Design specs: This holder is designed for rods with a diameter of 24mm. Since I can support 5 spools of 1.3kg each due to the space between the holders, I created it to safely hold a load of approximately 3.3kg. However, since Solidworks calculated a factor of safety (FOS) of around 36, I believe it can handle much more weight, even considering that 3D printing is not perfect. The holder was drawn in Solidworks 2018 using topology optimization. Feel free to remix this design with your own dimensions! Just remember to respect the license.
