This is a universal filament spool holder for an 8mm (or 5/16 inch) rod, suitable for smooth operation when equipped with optional 608 bearings. Modifying the spline might be necessary based on the inner diameter and width of the filament spool in question. The Freecad assembly file employs the assembly2 plugin available at: https://github.com/hamish2014/FreeCAD_assembly2. This spool holder pairs well with http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:249094, offering mounting flexibility as it can be secured either upside down or right-side up. Instructions To assemble this holder, print two of each part and arrange them according to the image provided. A crucial step involves tightening the clamps down using M3x20 screws and nuts.
