<p>If you find this thing useful, please consider sending a tip. :)<br><a href="https://paypal.me/cdsmakestuff">https://paypal.me/cdsmakestuff</a><br><a href="https://www.venmo.com/u/cdsmakestuff">https://www.venmo.com/u/cdsmakestuff</a></p><p>Filament Spool Holder - Roller Style</p><p>Easy to print and assemble<br>Adjustable version for different size spools or<br>Fixed size version for large (standard) spools</p><p>--------HARDWARE---------</p><p>1/2" PVC Pipe for roller - 95mm long x2<br>608 "Skate" Bearings - x4<br>3/16" (8mm) x 5/8" (15mm) Wood Dowel - x4<br>Masking Tape<br>Glue (super glue, gloop, epoxy, whatever works)<br>10mm Non-Skid Self Adhesive Silicone or Rubber Pads - x4</p><p>--------PRINTED PARTS-------</p><p>Sides (choose type A or B)<br>Ends<br>Roller Endcap</p><p>--------TOOLS-------</p><p>Saw to cut PVC (must be cut as square as possible)<br>Saw to cut Wooden Dowel<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;*Fine tooth hobby saw will work well for both the above<br>X-acto or similar hobby knife</p><p>--------TIPS / INFO--------</p><p>PRINTING:<br>Print settings (recommended min. w/ 0.4mm nozzle) - PLA - 3 walls, 4 bottom, 4 top, 20% infill.<br>Acetone and paper towel will quickly and easily clean up the PVC pipe parts.<br>The ends of the PVC pipe need to be cut as squarely as possible to ensure smooth rolling.<br>Two layers of masking tape on the flat side of the roller endcap act as a shim for the bearing (see photo).<br>You may or may not need to glue the sides to the end pieces depending on fitment… I preferred to glue them wanting a permanent joint.<br>&nbsp;</p>
