This filament spool holder employs 40 - 5/16in (7.9375mm) ball bearings for optimal performance. The ninja version incorporates a 1.75mm track along the bottom, allowing for effortless insertion of 1.75mm NinjaFlex filament to prevent it from sliding around (refer to the picture of the black version above). This design should accommodate various spool sizes, with narrow spools (<55mm wide) able to be placed across the longer length, while wider spools are best suited for placement across the shorter width. If 5/16in bearings are not readily available, it is possible to scale the print slightly and use 8mm bearings instead. However, it is advisable to observe the holder in operation for a while before leaving it unattended to ensure its functionality with your specific spool.
