I buy filaments without spools and reuse old spools with this holder. Some spools are really easy to split and use that holder to connect them together after filament installation. beware, does not work well with all types of spools, it should really be like to one on the picture. the holder with the spool fits nicely to my creality CR-10 spool holder.
