Filament Spool Holder (K8200) Mod 1 (UPDATE: 22-01-'17)
thingiverse
UPDATE: 22-01-'17 I've received valuable feedback on this model from commenters who wanted to see improvements. They suggested several changes to make the model perfect. Firstly, I replaced a single thread with four threads and adjusted the size slightly to ensure smoother operation. Secondly, I added holes to the holder and nut for aesthetic appeal and reduced printing time. Thirdly, Version 1 required a 100mm M6 rod, while Version 2 necessitates a 110mm rod. I extended the middle drum from the holder to facilitate easy bolt insertion without searching. I own a Velleman K8200 3D printer, which may not be top-of-the-line but works well for me. I've had this 3D printer for nearly two years now, and it's time I gave it a makeover. My first modification to the K8200 is this spool filament holder. The only additional parts required are two 626ZZ bearings. The length of the M6 rod used is approximately 100mm long, which works fine for me. However, if anyone has suggestions or improvements, please let me know. By the way, I apologize for my poor English!
