Filament spool holder for IKEA SKÅDIS ===================================== Overview -------- This thing comes in five parts, but you could use as little as two plus a non-printed item to make it work. My goal was to create something that would be flexible as my needs changed. As of this release, the arms that go into the pegboard along with the filament holder extensions are complete and work with HATCHBOX PLA spools. This thing can be customized to fit your needs, and I've included a .blender file of all the current parts to help speed that up for you if you happen to use Blender. Please share and remix accordingly. Good to know ------------- + The completed item spans three peg spots along the same horizontal line. + The peg points are initially tight when putting the arms in. + Arms are 14 X 10 cm not including peg points. + The spool holder is 7 cm with a diameter of 5 cm. + The keying on the inside of the arms is for a future version of the spool holder that will use less filament to produce. + Photos are of an earlier version where the filament holder parts slightly rubbed on the filament spool. The included files are of filament holders slightly longer.
