This is a straightforward filament spool holder designed specifically for Anycubic Prusa i3 printers, although it may also work with other models. The spool hangs above the LCD display and is secured via adjustable arms. The arms sit on top of the acrylic frame, preferably 8 mm thick, as close to the edges as possible so that the spool's weight is supported by the metal printer frame. It is optimized for a M8 threaded rod that fits snugly into the fork. The arms are also stabilized laterally using M3 screws on each side. The maximum outer diameter of the spool that this design can accommodate is approximately 240 mm. Winged nuts should be used to secure the rod and the spool in place. There are two parts to this model, one for each arm, which are almost identical except for the tab position that secures lateral positioning.
