Use R8-2RS (1-1/8 OD, 1/2 ID, 5/16 thick) bearings. Drill a 1/2" hold through the OEM spool mount and use a fully threaded 1/2-13 HHCS and capture it with a nut. I use a wing nut to tighten the spool on the holder. PIctured is a 4" bolt, but it didn't work well with a spool that had a smaller ID. I have changed this out for a 5" bolt.
